CODES OF CONDUCT
- The Sensei’s or Instructors are there to provide guidance to the student and provide a safe environment in which to practice. This can only be done if the student follows the command of the instructors at all times. Failure to do so will result in expulsion.
- It is the responsibility of the student to seek medical advice prior to engaging in Karate practices. No student should train without prior medical approval.
- Any Medical conditions should be disclosed by the student so that appropriate information may be recorded.
- There is no smoking in the Dojo.
- Karate practice should be conducted in bare feet unless there is a medical reason.
- Students must always behave appropriately in the Dojo. Bad behaviour will not be tolerated.
- Help should always be given to new arrivals at the Dojo.
- No pupil will join or leave the class while the session is in progress without the Instructor’s permission.
- Instruction will only take place under the supervision of a registered coach.
- Karate techniques should not be demonstrated outside the Dojo to anyone.
- If a member suffers injury prior to a session this must be reported to the Instructor.
- Injuries received during the session must be reported immediately to the Instructor.
- All members should hold a current BKA licence and agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the BKA.
- The Association will terminate the membership of any person they believe unsuitable for Martial Arts training.
- The Club will not be held responsible for any losses, personal, articles or otherwise.
- All members understand and accept that participation in Martial Arts training may involve a risk of injury.
- Any Student who is reported to have misused their knowledge of Karate may be suspended or expelled from the Club at the Instructor’s discretion.
- Any Student causing injury during a Grading, serious enough to prevent their partner from completing their grading will fail their own Grading.
